Trailer Income Payouts

We issue payouts every Wednesday. Income from rentals is eligible for payouts 72 hours after the trailer has been returned and the rental period has ended. We’ll issue payments on Wednesday for all eligible rental income. For example, if you have a rental that ends on Thursday to Sunday, it will be eligible for a payout the following Wednesday. 

Once you are eligible for a payout, we’ll email you to get your preferences. Please keep in mind that myTrailer takes a 15% fee to cover our expenses.

Payout Options

Mercury Bank

You can choose from three payout options. You can choose a wire transfer or an ACH transfer from our bank to yours at no cost. If you’d like a payment option without giving bank information, we can send you a check. It’s quick and easy to signup for payouts with Mercury Bank. All you have to do is fill out a form to enable one-way transfers from Mercury to your bank. 

Furthermore we do need your W-9 so we don’t have to withhold any taxes and it makes our accountant capable of  issuing 1099’s which you will need for filing taxes.

Why Does a Company Need a W-9 for a 1099?

A W-9 collects your legal name, address, and Taxpayer Identification Number (TIN), which the IRS requires for issuing a 1099. Without a W-9, the company may be unable to report your income accurately and may even be required to withhold a portion of your payments for tax purposes.
